Veterinary Physiotherapy

Veterinary Physiotherapy is a wonderful addition to your pets (or horses) ongoing management or rehabilitation programme and can be incredibly beneficial on its own or used in conjunction with your pets hydrotherapy sessions.

Potential candidates for treatment are:

- if your pet has recently undergone surgery on a limb, joint or muscle

- suffers from conditions like arthritis or hip/elbow dysplasia

- has a spinal condition

- suffers from age related mobility issues

Sessions include an assessment of how your pet is moving, muscle strength and quality, soft tissue symmetry and identify areas of discomfort. After assessment we will discuss the best route forward for your pet and devise a plan together. Treatment can include a tailored home exercise programme, home adaptations, massage, stretches and range of motion exercises to name a few.

Every treatment is unique and specific to your pet's needs. We are passionate about consensual treatment here and we will never force an animal to participate in these sessions; if we need to take our time to build the trust, we will.
