Thomas Rees MA Vet MB MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon and Practice Owner
After graduating from Cambridge University Veterinary School, Thomas started work in James Herriot’s old practice, in North Yorkshire. Thomas’ time in North Yorkshire provided him with a fantastic foundation for his career as he quickly developed a wide range of skills treating “All creatures great and small”.
Thomas enjoys all aspects of mixed practices but has a keen interest in equine gastroscopy and small animal cardiology (heart conditions in dogs).
Thomas joined the team at Selworthy in 2017 as a partner and became sole owner in 2021. Thomas is dedicated to providing a high standard of care to the clients and their pets. He believes in the traditional values of independent practice.
When Thomas isn’t working (which isn’t very often) he enjoys spending time with his family and walking his dog Sydney.
